The South Asian International Conference (SAICON) is an annual conference organized by the COMSATS University Islamabad (CUI) the custodians of the South Asian Chapter of the Academy for Global Business Advancement (AGBA). SAICON is a platform through which contemporary and developing ideas on business, economic and social sciences are discussed where academics and researchers interact with the industry professionals. The COMSATS University Islamabad, Pakistan in collaboration with the Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO), Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of Pakistan, Higher Education Commission, Pakistan and Federation of the Universities of the Islamic World (FUIW) is organizing Vice Chancellors’ Forum on ‘Universities in the Islamic World: Facing Global Challenges’. The Forum is scheduled to be held on February 23-24, 2015 at Islamabad, Pakistan.
Vice Chancellor’s Forum is third event being organized in series. The two earlier Forums were held to congregate Vice Chancellors/ Rectors/ Presidents of the universities in the Islamic world in September 2013 and June 2012 at Islamabad, Pakistan. Both events were well received with over whelming participation by the Vice Chancellors/ Rectors/ Presidents of the universities in the Islamic world.
